Youth Leader

The goal of the youth ministry is to design a model ministry which provides integrated and effective opportunities for discipleship, study, fellowship, service and recreation. The minister is responsible to:

¨      Lead the development of a strategic plan to implement a program for peer and mentor leadership among high school youth.

¨     Develop individual and small-group relationships to promote Christian spiritual growth among middle and high-school youth by planning individual and small group meetings, and giving them personal attention through phone calls.

¨      Provide resources for parents on teenage issues.

¨     Provide spiritual growth opportunities that promote Christian education and Christian service.

¨      Develop and implement a vibrant mission and service project ministry.

¨     Evaluate existing short-term mission program, recommend improvements, plan and lead short-term mission.

¨      Develop and implement a program for adult lay ministry with youth.

¨     Provide a communication strategy that includes regular communication (written, website, phone, personal) between youth, parents, congregation and staff.

We are blessed to have Sr. Freslaine Natasha Saint Louis “Tasha” as the leader of this ministry. She was born and raised in the church. She left in 2002 to go to school in Miami and returned five years later in December 2007. God has given her a great passion for the youth. She is a graduate from Nova Southeastern University and holds a bachelor in Business Management. You may write to her at youth@mybethelbaptist.org or btlyouth@gmail.com
